How My Life Among The Cakes Had Brought Me a Healthy Living

It sounds impossible, but yes, it did make my life better. Just to be clear, I'm talking about usual cakes with sugar and flour. That is correct, those are the cakes that are banned on every healthy food list.

The story begins several years ago. My fiance and I had a very bad period of life. Some great losses, wrong places in the wrong time, wrong people and no way out. We were broke, and we had to do something with our lives. I'm still not sure how we got that idea, but we had started making the cake stands. Just like that. Actually, my experience about making cakes and pastry was on the theory level. We had started from the scratch. How the time has passed and the experience increased we got into it. We are making custom made luxury cake stands and details, today.


We were so excited about what we were doing. We couldn't imagine that we are able to make such things and make people happy. We were so blessed. What was funny, most people had thought that we were eating cakes all the time because our customers are the pastry chefs, but that wasn't true. Actually, our work is more close to designing furniture or jewelry, than food and eating.


But, there was something that was available to us. We were members of some social groups and communities where we could read about the recipes. It was very interesting. From time to time, we were reading about ingredients. Google was our basic help to understand some things. From some point, we quit eating sugars, refined oils, white flour and most additives. Each time when we went for grocery shopping we acted like we were in the library and reading about food ingredients. Time passed and we felt improvement in energy level, digestive relief, better skin and better mood. It wasn't perfect but it was much better habit.



As we had some problem with stomach ache, digestions, some allergies, asthma, gaining weight, slower recoveries and several other symptoms so we were experimenting with food. We didn't want anybody to tell us what we should do, we wanted to find out by ourselves. It wasn't easiest way, but it was good way. Reading about symptoms and comparing with benefits and consequences of some food and food ingredients made us easier to find our way of healthy eating. Our personal researches still lasts, and we are very happy about results by now.


Changing the habits and improving diets we have changed the point of view to our business, food and started to observe creating dishes, cakes and pastries like specific, also artistic creations by people who are mostly in love with their work. That is not just food for them, it is passion, love, dedication, learning, advancing in their niche and living their dream. Maybe you think that cookie is just cookie. No it is not. Firstly it was an idea. On it's journey it was transformed many time before it got it's name, before it become your favorite cookie. No matter if it is made with white sugar or with organic honey, someone took efforts to create that sweet, tiny gem. It is supposed to be made of pure food, real food, the food whose origins and name among the ingredients you can recognize and explain. If you can describe and explain, your body could recognize and decode, too. That is the beginning of your journey to your own way of healthy eating.
